Next Cows Event
This Weekend sees the home game clash against Sydney's Norwest Polcats. After their second win of the year over Sydney Uni Last Weekend, the Cows are looking to launch the Groovin the Moo Weekend with a huge MOO!
The clubs are competing for the Buck Cup, won by the Cows in 2010, a momentous day in the clubs history when Co-Founder and Cuptain on the day Michael Conroy hoisted the Cup aloft at the meadows for UC Students ...to see.
Bring your mates, bring a gold coin for a snag or two for lunch, grab a drink from the UCU bar (2 udls for 10 bucks, a beer for $4) and maybe even win yourself a GTM ticket... seriously! There’ll be opportunities to win tickets so if you haven’t bought one already.... you’ve got to be in it to win it!
Kickoff is at 1.30pm, so get up to the meadows at 1pm to grab a feed before we run out of snags/bread and probably sauce.
MAKE SURE YOU SIGN UP TO BE A COWS 2011 SOCIAL MEMBER!
Clarry and his mates will be running around on the game day selling memberships!!!
Membership is only 5 bucks and will get you a 2011 Cows Social membership sticker which will get you a whole heap of treats:
- Drink specials at ICBM,
- Priority entry to ICBM
- Automatic entry in the draw for tickets to ALL UC Live Events
- A Complimentary drink on Entry at ICBM/MECHE
Afterwards, the herd will be mooooooooving to Hellenic Club for a feed and on to ICBM, where there’s bound to be a few laughs had, come! It’ll give you an excuse to use your complementary drink, before you forget you even have it!
See you all on Saturday - MOOO!!
Another memorable day down at the Meadows over the weekend and a good crowd turned up to support the "Call to Arms."
Reggies had a good win 42-18 over the Norwest Polecats, while the Polecats got their revenge in First Grade 40-6.
There footy was impressive, but the best part of the day was the $1700 raised for the Call to Arms (Cancer Council) to help the fight to save men's lives from cancer.
Well done to all Cows and supporters.
MOOO...
